　6thアルバム。邦題『地獄のロック・ライダーII～地獄への帰還』。世界的大ヒットアルバム『Bat Out of Hell』の15年ぶりの続編。ロックオペラと言えばこの方なのですが、日本ではあまり有名ではないかもですね。本作から「01. I'd Do Anything for Love」がヒット。全曲の作詞・作曲・プロデューサーは、Jim Steinman。 Todd Rundgrenは今回コーラスアレンジとして参加。Jim Steinmanらしい大げさなアレンジって個性的。
